The U.S. Postal Service says it has no choice but to continue Saturday mail service for the time being. The service proposed cutting mail service on Saturday as a way to stop bleeding cash in an era of email. However, it says Congress is stopping any effort to develop a new delivery schedule. The Postal Service says it will play by the rules, but repeated a new schedule will result in about two-billion dollars of savings every year.
